Oakland's offense sucks

The A's are apparently incapable of scoring more than two runs in a game. There's not even anything to be said about it. You have to hit and the A's aren't doing it. The press talks about hitting with runners in scoring position, but it's not just that: five hits in a game means you're not hitting anytime, not just when there's a guy on second base.

I'm afraid we're headed for another one of those years where every time the starter gives up one or two runs, the offense scores only one, and every time the offense "breaks out" for six or seven, the pitchers and defense have a rough game.

I'm far from panicking, and I still like the team, but it's going to be tough to beat an Angels team that has starting pitching that can go toe-to-toe with the A's, a still-good bullpen, and a better offense to boot.
